Late Fees
I am being charged a late payment fee on 2 devices at $5.95 a month for each when my bill isn't due for 20 more days.

Late charge - I paid the date the E-Bill said it was due. My bank confirms this was not their fault. Telus agent said i need to pay 3 to 5 days before the invoice "Pay Date". I asked, "why, its not my fault when you process late". Is this not computer pmt? Where does every ones $$$ go for those 3 to 5 days?.
- carsusstoFriendly NeighbourHello:I will be escalating this to a Telus Complaint, Consumer Protection and X.As I stated, my bank has the proof they are not causing the processing lag.I beloeve that late fees generate revenue (for example : ~$50 million/year across 5 million customers, assuming 10% incur $5 fees annually). Delaying processing maximizes fees and I am of the belief thatTelus profits unfairly at customers’ expense.Regards

I don't understand?
Do I have to make late fee payments before the bill is due

It sure seems like that is theiir plan. Do they get everyone's money early to do what they want with it? Where does everyone's money go for 3 to 5 days. Sounds illegal to me. They tried to blame it on my bank but the bank said "NO" and they have the proof the money came out and immediately went to Telus. This seems like Talus' fault if they are processing late they should charge themselves!
