Re: Delay in sports brodcasts
Just wanted to say that I watched a game on Amazon prime tonight and the stream was crisp, felt almost 4k in comparison to telus live tv.
other features I love, the game is synced to live scores where as on telus tv plus I’m about one minute behind or more sometimes.
other thing I think is great is some indicator that says live just in case someone sits on a remote you can identify easily if you are behind or not.
i do hope telus tv plus gets more improvements to live tv considering the high cost.
im on Apple TV 4K

Our team is aware of the slight delay in live sports and is working on shortening it as much as possible!

Hey Telus Support. We gave you five months. How did the work go in shortening this delay? It is BRUTAL to watch sports with you. I'm leaving after my contract is over unless this gets sorted. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

I want to make sure the language is clear here, it is not a "slight" delay, 1 minute is a large delay for live sports. When I can hear my neighbour cheering 1 minute ahead of where I am in a game... that's a big delay. On the flip side, if I'm cooking dinner, I can count on Telus to be behind and my neighbour screaming to know when to look up LOL.

Just want to clarify, while I appreciate this is being worked on, please don't minimize the issue as a "slight" delay. Every time I watch sports, I can't look at my phone. My friends and family message, I get notifications from fantasy sports apps, I see trending posts on social media. A 1 minute delay in LIVE SPORTS is an eternity.
- PR101Friendly NeighbourThey have been working on this for a couple years and does not seem to be getting any better. Where’s this on the priority list? Lost I am thinking.
