Satellite TV Receiver issues

I have a 9241 PVR which has already been replaced once but the problem persists.  Certain channels (and more all the time) come in like the video is jerky.  Very irritating.  I did speak to a Telus agent who told me this was an ongoing issue with this model - FIX IT!!

The picture quality is only blurred with the 9241 - my other receiver is fine.

Anyone else having this problem??

Same problem here on a 9241 receiver. Most channels are so jerky I think I’m having a seizure. I don’t know if it’s a frame rate issue or what.

Right? Telus told me it was a glitch with that receiver

Did they offer to replace said receivers?

Yes! I have replaced mine but the problem persists. My regular receiver (not a pvr) works fine.

On a different topic, did they send you the receiver and then you had to contact TELUS to register the new one you received?

On a completely new topic, rumor has it that Telus satellite TV is going to be discontinued. I have has this service since its inception. I realize it is piggy backed on Bells service. If it is discontinued what options will subscribers have for new TV service?

There is no plan as of now for a turndown of our TELUS Satellite TV service.

25/3/3 Our sat tv reception is also 'jerky' for the last month. It is on several channels. Using a 9241 receiver. We have yet to contact telus. We will do some further checking our system. 

All our services are with telus. They have been helpful in the past. Looking forward to seeing what can be done. Calgary area. Thx

Good luck. I have had my receiver replaced but it did not solve the problem. It only happens on my 9421 receiver. My other receiver works fine.
