My initial Telus 5 year contract included some battery replacement. Just renewed for another 5 years, for the same monthly cost, even though the equipment is now 5 years old and many sensor (23) batteries are coming to the end of their life. Sure enough a week later one of the window sensors failed due to a low battery.
Called Telus Security and was now told that Telus is no longer replacing any batteries because it was too expensive. Has anyone been told the same thing?
Most Telus batteries lasted almost 3-5 years, but cannot find out from Telus what brand of batteries they would recommend. Does anyone have any experience with this.
