Just now when I went to arm my system for the night, using Arm Stay, the panel started doing a 60 second count down. Usually it only does that countdown when Arm Away.
I haven't changed anything about my system. Is anybody else seeing that issue?
Thanks!

I eventually figured out that you can select the "Silent Arming" option to eliminate the audible countdown. This was not required for Arm Stay until about a week ago.

How do we stop the keypad arming beep, it never use to do it and it's super annoying when someone comes in late. Is there a way to set it as silent like it use to be without doing it individually every time?

I am having the same issue. Since the last system update my system has an audible countdown when "Arm Stay" is activated.
I called Telus Home Security and the agent told me that the last update had a bug and this cannot be resolved.
This is very annoying. Has anyone had this issue resolved?

The purpose of the Arm Away 60 second countdown is to basically give you enough time to exit the premises without triggering the alarm.

I am setting Arm Stay. I am not leaving the premises. The countdown is not necessary.
The countdown is only applicable when using Arm Away.

This is wrong. It’s ARMED STAY!!! Until a recent software update there was no timed countdown out loud. How do I turn the timed countdown off for armed stay again? My wife is losing her mind when our new puppy peeing at 3am and now it counts down for 60 sec and the last 10 sec is out loud by the digital voice.

How did this get accepted as the accepted solution? It completely misinterprets the question and provides a useless answer.
