Telus Jan, 2019 sold us a new 3-year Residential Services Contract with a slight "upgrade"to our existing 1999 ADT security system. Only changes were a modern touch Key-pad, one new CO detector and one new Smoke Alarm.
Monthly Service includes for Monitoring Centre Signal Receiving and Notification for Burglary, Manual Fire/Smoke and Manual Police Emergency. We pay for Extended Limited Warranty/Quality Service Plan (QSP). This Contract lapsed in Jan, 2022 yet we still pay monthly etc.
(1) Do we still have Contract with ADT/Telus?
(2) Can we cancel, and if so, what are the penalties/costs of doing this?
