Door to Door Sales

I had a guy representing "Telus" come to my door at 7:00 PM this evening, even though I have a "No Solicitors" sign in plain sight.  When did Telus start doing door-to-door sales?  If this is not your normal protocol, I need to know immediately.  I will have to file a report with the police.

Telus does door to door in new Fibre neighbourhoods, and for Home Security, and has been doing so for many years.
