Arm House from Door Pad
How can I set my alarm to arming away when I lock the door from just the PAD? We've had Vivint previously and we had that option and with the Telus system it arms away even with locking the door from...
February 2025; this is still an issue. Just had my system upgraded to SmartHome from Vivint system... this is seriously annoying that the Telus system still does not have this feature. Clearly the system can distinguish being "Unlocked by User Code", this should be a pretty basic feature update! This complicates the entire process, particularly with respect to smaller children. Having buyers remorse already.
It's too bad they weren't keeping the Vivint systems. They were amazing!

Understandably frustrating. Our SmartHome team is aware of the demand for this feature, and we'll advise of an update when we hear of one!
I loved my Vivint system EXCEPT, the panel half the time didn't recognize that I'd unlocked the door and I had to run to disarm at the panel. And overall the app was **********e. I've actually been really happy with Telus except for this missing feature. It's dumb that it's taking them so long to add it. Clearly the system recognizes there's a door key pad, so it should be able to recognize when the door is locked at the key pad! Grrrrr.
