Will there be any channels in lieu for the channels that were stopped on optic TV?
If no new channels will be provided will our fees be decreased?
I can't understand why these channels were stopped when we watched them quite regularly.
I emailed the Telus team twice but never got a reply. I guess this is the way they treat their long time customers.
Telus doesn't control whether or not broadcasters cease the operations of their channels. Shaw/Corus and Bell have both shut down a number of channels recently. Most due to low viewership and at least one (BBC Canada) that's being replaced by it's own streaming service later this year. Until the channel packs are updated we won't know if there will be any changes or substitutions, or not.
