20 ft is on the long side for HDMI and this is where having a quality (not necessarily the same as expensive) cable is required. If at all possible move either the Optik box or projector so that you can test with a shorter cable (6 ft or less) to determine if cable length is the problem before spending money on a new 20 ft cable.
Is your Optik box connected by WiFi or Ethernet? If it's WiFi the issue might be a slow/weak connection.
