Was anybody looking forward to watching the Battle of the Five Armies last night - after seeing the previous two movies of the trilogy over the last two nights?
How did you like Minority Report instead? Was that some kind of joke?
It must be near to impossible to update the Optik Program guide, because why would you treat your customers like that otherwise.
And you wonder why people are cutting the cable and refusing to pay a premium for that kind of service? Or maybe you don't.
Just disappointing.

The broadcasters are responsible for the guide content. They submit it at least two weeks in advance and if they make a last minute change to what they actually show on their channel and don't bother sending the update for the guide, then you run into the situation you experienced. The guide is updated regularly but it only shows what the broadcasters have submitted. Telus has no way of knowing what content the channel will actually air outside of what was submitted for the guide. Same goes for any other TV service provider.
