Thought I’d ordered. Had a lengthy conversation with agent. Shows as change on my bill but I never received the device. Need to know if 4K box will work even if I don’t have a 4K TV. Hugely annoyed that Netflix isn’t supported without this device, as it is one of the few things worth watching. Feels like customers are being unfairly targeted for their preferences.
1. Did you get an order confirmation via email? If no - then I'd use the chat function to connect with an agent. If yes, when did you receive the order confirmation? Normally it would take a day or so for the warehouse to process the order and ship you the equipment, at which point you'd get another email with tracking information.
2. A 4K PVR or Wireless Digital Box will absolutely work with an HD TV, but if your TV is more than 20 years old and doesn't have an HDMI input, you may need an adapter cable.
3. Netflix decides which devices their app will be supported on, not TELUS.
