That is a great question. I have subscribed to Popular Sports pack for 2 years now and have watched Canuck games Leaf games Canadiens Etc. from here in Calgary, but now it appears we are getting blocked regionally by Telus or the NHL. I subscribed to these channels so that I could watch different regions as they were occurring live. Not impressed with Telus at the moment. Seems they just want you subscribe to yet another service for more money.

Regional blackouts are NHL’s doing, this has nothing to do with Telus. To have a better understanding you can look here.
