With Shaw now under Rogers ownership. Is Telus planning on adding FOX Business and France 24 to the lineup to keep up with the competition? I see that Rogers is slowly adding channels that Telus does not currently provide.

Part of the problem with Bravo is that Rogers owns that channel. Rogers likes to charge companies that are not Rogers more to get channel that they own. Shaw was the same way, before the merger. Often the delay in another broadcaster picking up a Rogers channel is likely from the price negotiations that take place.
The other consideration is demand. Carrying a channel usually has a minimum cost that comes with it. If the demand isn't there, then carrying the channel isn't going to be profitable. Especially if the broadcaster, like Rogers, charges too much to carry the channel in the first place.
Rogers/Shaw, in western Canada, does not offer MLB Network. The only way to get access to it is through DAZN.

Hey @EJ44 great question! Although I am not the right person to say whether or not we are looking into new channels, I can confidently say that our Optik team is constantly looking for new things to add to our Optik platform

Shaw/Rogers provides their customers Bravo, FOX Business, MLB Network, France24. Why does Telus not have these available to their customers? One would think with competition, you would carry the same channels to keep your subscribers from moving service providers.
