I'm really disappointed with the current state of the reward program. It’s frustrating to see so few options available for redemption, and it’s even worse that most of them have been out of stock for over a year.
Can we please get some better options? It would be great to see iTunes, Xbox, PlayStation, Starbucks, Sephora, Razer, and GameStop gift cards added to the mix. Those would actually feel like worthwhile rewards!
Also, can we talk about the limit of redeeming just one card every 24 hours? It's laughable that you can’t even redeem your own points without waiting.
Rewards should actually feel rewarding. Let’s make some improvements!

I literally typed "telus rewards program a joke" into Google Search and this thread popped up at the top. I have to agree that the program is sadly lacking. My recent bill had a notification that rewards points prior to January 1, 2025 would be removed January 30, 2025. I've never redeemed any points before, so I thought now would be a good time to redeem points to put towards my bill. (This was the main reason I joined the program when it first started.) Nope, that option was no longer available. When I saw Amazon listed as a brand, I thought "Great, I'll redeem points for an Amazon gift card." Nope, nothing listed under that brand. Electronic category options and brands (no Best Buy or Memory Express?) were poor. I don't shop at any of the other category brands, so they were of no use. Some may find some benefits with the program, but in its current state, for me, trying to redeem my points was a complete waste of time.
