How to connect a printer to laptop using Tellus network

cliffmarine

I have been told by HP that the network speed of 5GHz cannot be used to connect the printer to my laptop. They have said that Tellus has changed the network speed and that I can request Tellus to keep both network speeds 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz on the router. Could you verify this.

Hey @cliffmarine - it is possible to have a 2.4 and 5GHz network and it needs to be set up on your router.

If you go into the settings on your router, you can turn off Smart Steering. This creates 2 networks, one at 2.4, and one at 5. You can then connect your printer.

Alternately, if your printer has an Ethernet connection, you can connect it to your router directly.
