hi

have a question about the free telus wifi hotspots.  can you only use it for 10 minutes at a time then have to keep registering after the 10 minutes are up or how does it work?  thanks.

No, your registration lasts 3 months, before you have to resubmit your information, though the coffee shop might kick you out before then!

There are none of the limitations which are present on the competing(?) Shaw product.

The two times I've tried it, I've been kicked out after 10 minutes.  A message said I'd receive an email, but the email never came on either occasion.  I had to keep reconnecting.  No email went in a spam folder.

I too have experienced registration problems with #TELUS  wifi.  My main complaint is it does not work with a telus.net email address.

The 10 minute time out time does not make any sense for a "pull type" email server, such as the telus.net service.

TELUS should just copy how Shaw does free wifi registration.
