Want an iphone without expensive plan

I currently have a BB on an old fab 10 plan that I am only paying $60/month for.  I would like to upgrade to an iphone but I am looking for a plan that is not a whole lot more in cost then what I am paying now.  I do not need a share plan as it will only be my phone on the plan.  Any suggestions?

Buy the iPhone outright from Apple, and continue your current plan. Your savings should more than cover the cost of the phone.

Sadly, that is not an option.  The fab 10 plan is for BB only.

Your plan should be compatible with an iPhone or any other smartphones, unless you  have a BB Social Network plan. Contact Telus to verify and purchase your iphone outright, as NFtoBC mentionned.
