Unlocked phones

I think it would be a good idea for telus phones to come unlocked or for there to be a telus service that would unlock a phone (if it's paid off ) for you because that would say to the customers "hey we trust you as much as you trust us"  because in my veiw if a phone company has to rely on sim locks for their customer's loyalty they're not doing that good of a job anyway.

 like if you agree so we can show telus what we want

I think with Telus it is $35 to unlock a device after 90 days of service.

Also to note, the Nexus line of devices, despite carrier, all come factory unlocked.
