I am not really sure what I did to get it working.
It is a new iPhone 6, so I made a call, sent myself a text AND picture message, then powered of for a while...more than twenty minutes.
When I turned it on, I was able to connect!
Oh, I also removed the Data Blocking feature Telus had put on my account!
