Telus doesn't want Money, I guess

Want to put Money on my Telus Prepaid account.  Went to store and was told they were short staffed so would have to wait at least 1.5 hours, if not more!  Tried online (as I used to do), and says services are not working.  This has been the case for at least a week.  Called the 1-861 number and was on hold or being transferred for the last 1.5 hours.  Cannot understand representatives as so much noise in background and language.  Was transferred a few times - I assume they just want to get rid of me???  Now am being told I must wait 72 hours for someone to call me back.  Just want to know if this is a scam or legitimate.  I will call my credit card company.  And would like to know HOW one can top up a prepaid account????  Anyone at Telus know???

Have you tried registering on My TELUS and topping up your prepaid account yourself?
