Did your service continue to work with the old SIM card?
I would expect the transfer to be seamless to you as a customer. Were there any instructions included with the new SIM?

Really? telus.com/hello works fine for me. You'll also want the old SIM in the phone still. The page lists:

Just say a non telus model. You should have the option to pick something that's not a telus device.
