From other conversations I have seen, your phone will most likely be updated when Fido pushes their update. While you'd think your transfer of the phone to the Telus network would mean you'd get Telus updates, but such seems no to be the case - your phone is still somehow attached to the original carrier for updates. I have seen the same when phones are brought from a USA carrier - still get updates based on the original carrier dates!
Hope this helps!

"Nobody told me about this issue before I brought my phone over, or else I would have bought a new one when I switched to Telus. My phone is having alot of problems and needs the software upgrade." No time to upgrade like now 🙂 an extra gig of data for a $1 month for your new 24 month term and lots of phones on sale. If you decide you just want a new phone instead of waiting. Otherwise totally agree with the first reply you got. You could call Samsung or swing by a samsung store for the real technical questions about software too.

Samsung store? Not sure where you are but they are very rare here. The Galaxy S6 only has a two year parts and labour warranty. The software will need to come from Fido.
