Roaming in Mexico doesn't work

Same as many other customers, my roaming in Mexico doesn't work, I'm paying way too much for a plan that supposed to work in my travel to Mexico and I have to connect to a WiFi all the time because roaming doesn't work, I tried to restart the phone many times, airplane mode on/off, tried to connect manually to a local network and nothing

It looks like you had roaming off on your profile. I have corrected it for you. If you try those steps again, it should work.

My data doesn't work in Mexico either I can call and text but no data.

That shouldn’t be happening. If you haven’t already, try restarting your device and ensuring data roaming is enabled in your settings. Have you tried manually connecting to a network?

Have you manually selected Telcel as the network? Based on usage, we see a connection and usage on phone, text and data.

I did a network reset and then my data worked for a little bit but the next time I checked it wasn’t working. Now when I switch my wifi off I get network offline.

I haven’t heard of others having problems. I’m not getting error messages.

Hi. I have been chatting g with 2 different people at Telus about this and no one can help. Is this a setting in Telus’s end that needs to change?

Hi there, can you turn airplane mode on and then off, power cycle your device and try again?

Tried all that before I posted. It’s working now when I woke up and had an email saying international roaming  and txting has been turned on ,so guess someone st Telus turned it on. 

Anyone else experiencing this just call Telus. It took me multiple support people to get it resolved (not sure why) but all good now. Also not sure why it wasn’t turned on by Telus by default.
