For starters.... do not reply to spam or unwanted texts.... this just verifies your number is an active number to be sent MORE spam.

Telus does have a way to report unwanted texts.

TELUS maintains a stringent spam filtering system and will continue to protect you against these unsolicited types of text messages. If you receive an unwanted text message, forward it to 7726 with the word SPAM in the body and we will adjust your bill. No questions asked. That’s our TELUS Spam Free Guarantee.

TELUS only has the ability to block all incoming messages but you can block spam messages directly from your device. I found this link that has instructions on how to block spam messages: http://inside-galaxy.blogspot.ca/2014/02/samsung-galaxy-s4-how-to-block-unwanted_18.html

Telus webpage says forward text to ... but my phone Telus galaxy S4 does not have a text forward function.

So.... How do I forward the message, How do I stop these **bleep** texts?

It does! I have the same phone. On the screen where you would read/reply to texts tap and hold the spam message bubble. A menu will pop up with various options. One of them  should be Forward. Select that option and a new window will appear. In the enter recipient text area, type 7726. In the body of the spam message, just add the word spam at the start(I also add a space after, don't know if it makes a difference,) then click send. Almost immediately you should get a response from telus' system informing you they received it.
