Happy Valley - Goose Bay Local Cell Numbers

It would be good if Telus customers in Happy Valley - Goose Bay, NL could get local cell numbers the same as the customers with Bell and Virgin customers can..

The closest numbers Telus customers here in Labrador can get are cell numbers from either Corner Brook or St. John's.. I think Telus needs to fix this and get a local set of cell numbers established for Happy Valley - Goose Bay, NL

Number blocks can be shifted around, especially if the old bank of numbers Telus had allocated sold out. Also it's the new millennium. Phone numbers are not as tightly tied to a specific small geographical area as they used to be.

Are people trying to call you having problems reaching you at the phone number you don't like?

@Nighthawk It would be a long distance call for anyone from Happy Valley - Goose Bay to call the OP, and vice versa unless the OP has a plan including unlimited LD, so I would agree it is a problem for him.  

Simple answer might be to switch to Bell Aliant, the local carrier.
