Apple Watch and switching iPhones

Hi, I already have an Apple Watch series 4 active on my current iPhone but was just wondering if I buy a new iPhone will I have to do anything special for it to work on the new phone? Or will it just work? Thanks.

At a minimum you will need to unpair the watch from the current phone and pair it to the new one.

Worst case, you’ll need to reinstall the software on the watch, and pair it anew.

Thanks I understand that part of it but want to make sure I wouldn’t need to call TELUS to do anything account wise. Thanks.
