About telephone salesperson

Minaduki
Neighbour
Last couple days I received someone said from telus, and tried to convince me to change my phone plans. Anyway, at the end, I don’t have a credit card, so the salesperson on the phone texted me the emails for e-transfer of the deposit for the new phone and activation fee. But the email the salesperson gave me is: [email protected]
Something from gmail, so I’m now worried if this is the scam. So if someone knows about it, can anyone please tell me if this is legit or not.

Thanks

It's absolutely a scam. Don't give them any information or money. If you are interested in a new phone, it's best to contact Telus directly.
