$5 balance @ 0.15/minute should have give me 33 minutes of calling not 4 minutes.

I had $5 on my balance and talked 4 minutes and some seconds on a local call to another persons cell living my area. I have a balance $0.18 left.  I'm being charged over a dollar a minute.  I don't have data enabled on my phone. The $ was used by 4 minutes of calling.

Lets do some math here, the telus system must have having some problems doing math, lets see..

$0.15 x 33 minutes = $4.95

$0.15 x 4 minutes   = $0.60

This ain't right, what happened?

Has the charge usually been $0.15 in the past when you have made calls?

Regular pay per use is $0.50 / minute, from the time you connect to the network, and is charged unless you have some form of add-on.

You would have to review your account on-line or by calling Telus to learn more.  I've found the on;in accounting to be very clear as to the usage I have been charged.

I have the 250 message plan, it says my calling is 0.15 local calling, 0.50 long distance. For some reason I am unable to see my call records online. It only shows text and data.  But Even if I was charged 0.50 a minute I should still have 2 dollars left. I think the 4 calls I made took only 5-10 seconds of ringing. Something ain't right. I feel a bit cheated, I was counting on actually getting 33 minutes, I did the math before making my purchase. Maybe Telus thinks people are stupid and do these things. lol

I'm able to access my call history by accessing my account then choosing Account Activity > Transaction History > selecting Category: Calls > Call Type : All.

It shows the calls, number called, length of call, and amount debited for each call made. If I look under 'Usage' I see only data consumed and Texts sent.
