Hi all, hopefully someone has some insight.
I purchased a 30 day easy roam pass ($60 for 30 days of using my plan as normal abroad - in Europe). This was triggered Feb 20; so 30 days later should bring us to March 22.
Walked outside today, and within 3 minutes, I got a text from Telus stating I used $100 in data overages for 20MB?
I turned off my cellular, and messaged telus when I got wifi. I checked my plan, and my 30 day pass is no longer there, even though it hasn't been 30 days. I reached out to an agent and they say the $100 charge is valid because "this appears to be from additional network usage". What does that mean? It should be covered because of my easy roam plan.
So in total, I have paid my base plan (over $100), plus a 30 day travel pass ($60), plus extra data charges ($100), plus tax ($20). And now my data is locked.
- Why was the pass removed from my account?
- How do I access my easy roam package again?
- Will this 100$ extra data charge be refunded?
Thank you so much!
