SIM card doesn’t fit

Ordered a new SIM card from Telus to swap into a iPhone 7. I can’t get it to fit, seems like a hair too big and maybe not long enough. Gold side up right???? I can get to fit white side up only. .

    Thanks. It worked after I activated and inserted gold side face down.
