SIM card esim

I was away so got an esim all was good came home went to delete it but it deleted my actual sim too? Now it’s saying no sim I tried taking out my sim and re entering but that didn’t work tried going on the account and devices and changing SIM card but that didn’t to do I have to call them? I tried doing support chat but that just telling me to go to devices and set up sim
