Another solution would be to completely remove the e-mail account from the phone, and then try adding it again.

Hi, the first is to make sure that your data connection is working, if it is, make sure that you have the right password by accessing your live.ca account from a computer. If for some reason you're still having an issue, search on Google for the proper email server incoming/outgoing name. Your mobile provider can only control your 3G/4G data service so at some point, you can also try to reach the live.ca support.
