"call ended" ever since upgrade to 4.3 (Galaxy s3)

Hi all,

I've run into a really annoying issue since upgrading my Galaxy S3 to Android 4.3.

My phone was working perfectly fine until I had to do the update to my phone on Monday.

Ever since then, I seem to not be able to receive or place any calls whatsoever. Essentially whenever I try and call somebody, it immediately beeps and gives me a "call ended" message and won't let me make a call.

I've tried going into the settings to select TELUS as my operator and it still doesn't fix this issue. Like I said, I'd like to emphasize the fact that this only started happening for me ever since I upgraded to Android 4.3 - my phone worked perfectly fine beforehand.

Any advice? I'm very annoyed at this....

(in case it matters, I'm in Ontario and should also mention that my data and SMS seems to still work...)

Thanks

I advise taking the battery out of the device while it is still on and placing it back in after 5 seconds before booting it back up and attempting a call. If that does not work please read the following:

Since this is a software issue I highly advise a Factory reset of the device followed by a Hard reset if the issue persists. You can review a tutorial for the process in the following URL: http://www.androidpit.com/en/android/forum/thread/565114/Samsung-Galaxy-S3-Factory-Reset-your-Samsun...

Support is provided by Telus through Facebook, Twitter, and telephone. This is a comunity of users who may have other experiences to share. If you need a quick turnaround on your question, you should try one of the other means of contact.
