my name is Lesley Sm****iuk 403 *** 9303. I just got a new iphone 4s today and it will not connect to wifi and I can't make a call, it ends immediately????

Hi, in regards to your 3G service, make sure that your sim card is activated. You can log into your telusmobility.com online account and make sure that the proper serial number is activated. Inside your mobile network settings, 3G must be on and also, airplane mode must be off. Once you've done everything and you still can't connect to 3G mobile service, call Telus tech support, *611 from your device or 1-866-558-2273. in regards to Wi-fi, the previous solution seems right, try testing with a different Wi-fi router. Hope this will help!

A few suggestions:
Restart the phone to see if it connects to the cellular network, so you can make calls.
Make sure the WiFi is turned on on the phone in settings
Make sure the WiFi signal you wish to connect to is broadcasting its SSID ( you can't connect to a source the phone can't find)
