how to unlock a cell phone

please how do i get an unlock code to nokia lumia 520 with the IMEI number *** which was bought from Telus from Canada by my uncle. He brought it to Ghana, i will be much greatful if you can help me get the unlock code

For security reasons please remove your imei number. You will need an active TELUS account with that phone in order to have them unlock your device.

If you are in Ghana you probably don't have an account with TELUS.

There are 3rd party services that will unlock your phone. Check on eBay. I've used eBay unlock codes successfully for other phones. As with anything on eBay, buyer beware.
