hi i have problem when i buy my phone and why is in the plan cheaper after all i have my phone

why is not cheaper  when i buy my own phone its i like im not on   a   two year cntract  but yet the plan is the  same whether you have your own phone

If you are on one of thier new plans your bill goes donw by 20. If you are on an old plan you get 10% off.
