Should by nexus or Motorola and you get it as soon as its released.. That the only reason I buy nexus device's because they get the updates out of the box..5.0 isn't nothing compared to 5.1..

Not Motorola. Some users are still waiting for just 5.0 still.

Google owned Motorola and the moto g and x and there high on the list..They had control of them when they were made and hold there royalties and that's why they are getting lollypop 5.0.2 and then going straight to 5.1.0 when lg,Samsung,HTC are still waiting and will be for a while before they get 5.1,google will give them a teaser with 5.0..and make them wait another 3 or 4 months for the 5.1 and by that time 6.0 or 6.6 will be out then you will have to wait another 6 months for that...That's how google controls android,my phones first and the others sit and wait...its like Christmas with them and that is the only reason I buy the nexus lines..And 5.1.0 is smoooooth,my phone is faster brighter, its a new phone because today they updated the android system web view and what ever that was it totally changed my phone..i don't no y but it did. Its a new phone..

Since Motorola was sold off to Lenovo some time ago, there have been issues. They've been discussed here before.

Well my son is only 12 and we wanted to see how he would do with a phone so we bought out of pocket moto g second gen and it has been great for him and yesterday I updated it to 5.1.0 lollypop and it seem more snappy,I really can't complain on how the phone has been for him and all his selfies and I will not buy a 12 year old a $800 phone to break...When I was a kid we were lucky to get 3Tv channels and a 25" Tv was big to us..I remember our first cordless phone when I was 12 or 13 and that was a big deal.. And a trip to town to go shopping at Zellers was a special occasion....

His Motorola has did the drop test, the swim test and it still works so I won't complay about Motorola,I will not buy him another one because he has Graduated and will buy him a new phone in may for his b-day and maybe he will be the first in our house to own a iPhone ,never ever thought I would ever buy a iPhone 6 but that's what he wants....
