My phone recently kicked the bucket and my sister gave me her old S6 which is locked to Telus. For us to unlock it, from what I have read she would have to do it through Telus and prove identity and whatnot. What I'm wondering is how much they will charge for this? What I've read is confusing to me, some say minimum of $50 or $35. Others say since that unlock ban went in place it's free. I'm hoping for free because I am pretty poor at the moment lol.
