UPS returns phone without delivering.

Hi,

I ordered a phone to upgrade my old one on mytelus. 

The order goes along smoothly, but the UPS driver doesn't ring the bell, so I get a notice of attempted delivery that I pick up 10 mins after while going out of my house. I was home the whole morning.

 

I called UPS to reschedule for thursday, 3 days later, since I couldn't be home tuesday nor wednesday. On wednesday night, the package is flagged to be returned to sender.

I called UPS to cancel that and there's nothing they can do to stop the return.

The tracking confirmed that package has arrived at the sender's by now.

I called Telus to let them know I want that phone to be reshipped. 

 

Does anyone know how long this is going to take?

Solved: 
So the package was re-sent sometime between thursday and today (tuesday) without any confirmation email nor tracking detail. I was home early by chance today and got a doorbell ring for a signature required delivery. 
It was a quick re-send from telus, but an email to notify the client when the phone will arrive would have ensured being home for the delivery.
