Probably a dumb question but does the LD calling from canada to u.s include texting?

As the description does not include any info about texting, and there is a specific add-on for texting to international destinations, I would expect the LD package you have does not include texting to USA. Pay per use rates are 0.40 per text. If you regularly communicate with a few individuals, you could consider an alternative messaging app.

Calling features will never include text messaging or data allotments. There are no long distance charges for text messages or data used within Canada.
