Need help to get PC drivers in order to unload stuff off my phone (text conversations, photos, phone book) onto the computer.
It's a quite old phone, a Keybo 2 or CX9200.
Hey, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Besides, one goal of downloading all the stuff is to save it when I do get a new one.
Last time I needed to download and upload a nice smart guy at the Telus store was able to help me out. This time I went there for advice and the guy was several hundred watts dimmer and looked at me as if I were asking in Chinese so no help there.
I tried an online search and found a link to a community page with a library; went there and the page is suspended.
Read my manual (yes I still have the box) and it says *nothing* about downloading photos (does seem a normal thing to do when they give you a camera . . .). I di have instructions to format a SIM card so I can upload music and ringtones. (a) that isn't what I am trying to do and (b) I don't happen to have an empty SIM card lying around and can't reformat the one in my camera, if that is the one that fits, because I'd lose all the other photos.
Anyone know a quick and reasonably direct way to do this? I am reasonably technically ept, have a science degree and teach advanced calculus, so no need for the instructions how to find the basics. On the other hand I am 64 and recovering from an eye operation and that science degree is from 1972, thus everything I know about PC's, cell phones, the internet etc. is self-taught -- it didn't exist when I was taking computer classes -- so please explain terms clearly thanks.

A SIM card doesn't have the storage capacity for music or ringtones. A MicroSD one will but I don't know if that phone supports it. Many posts online indicate that phone was locked up pretty tight.
Sadly for this phone most information online is quite old or just no longer exists. If you can get the LG Drivers for that phone try the instructions below:
