If I purchase a used phone locked to Telus can I get it placed on my existing Telus account.

If it is locked to Telus, all you should need to do is put a SIM card associated with your account into the phone. If the new phone uses a different size SIM card than your old one, you may need to get a new SIM card.

@whimik The information given by @Nighthawk is correct :). The only thing I would add is to ensure the phone hasn't been flagged as lost/stolen by checking the IMEI on our website here: Device Compatibility

Only if it's been removed from previous owner's account as it can't be in both at once.
