Many people are having issues with their IPhone doing this every minute or so, even while being used.

The fix on the following webpage has fixed three devices this morning..  It involves a temporary workaround, which allows the IOS update to go through.

Never heard of or saw this problem before. The workarounds seem like busy work and I'm not overly trusting of that article. Any user that hasn't already updated to iOS 11.2 yet should do that first. The security patch for the KRACK wifi hack is part of it.

Agreed.   I've got several iphones and ipads, not having any troubles at all.
