Did you connect to iTunes after the unlock?
If you did, then you will have to contact Telus again.
If you didn't, then just go into an internet café in Thailand and ask them to use iTunes. Log into your iTunes account with your phone connected via the USB cable. This step if often needed to complete the unlock. Be sure to log out and change your password after using the internet café.
