How do I know if a credit check was approved?

JoshAWilson
Just Moved In
So I wanted to switch providers to Telus Prepaid. And I saw the cyber Monday offer for the Note 8. So I applied (for the heck of it), believing I would be declined or at best have to pay my outstanding Telus bill ($1,000+) from years ago, that my ex racked up + a deposit. Well I went through the credit check with no problem, accepted the terms and paid the promo price plus the cost of a sim card and was expecting to be declined, but I was given a order number, and a confirmation email. I have God awful credit, I wouldn't have approved me. Now I'm in a lot better financial position now but that's only as recent as this year, and intend to pay my bill just like I have been at with my previous provider, but I had to give them a $500 deposit. So I want to know when am I going to get the email that I wasn't approved? Or have I been?
