Can I put a sim card from my samsung galaxy s thats prepaid into a used IPhone 4s thats on a contract?

The Galaxy S uses a mini SIM and the iPhone 4S has a micro sim so it physiccally will not fit. But f you do get the Galaxy S sim transfered to a micro sim yes then you can put it into an iPhoen 4S no problem, as long as it is either a Koodo/Telus or unlocked device.

How would I get it transfered? Just go to into a telus store?

Yes, size matters..... look at the SIM card.  Some cards just need to be cut or popped out of their "mini holder" to be a micro card.
