Blackberry PRIV connects and disconnets from home WIFI randomly

My phone seems slow to connect to our home WIFI and very often it will appear to be connected, but there is no internet access. A common message in the browser is name look up error or something like that. Because it randomly disconnects I expect I get more cell data use that should be happening at home. I seem to think it is primarily an issue with our home network though I rarely connect to WIFI out of the house. I can be in the same room as the WIFI and be "connected", but not have internet access. Then some time later it will be there....
