While watching programs the sound will cut in and out randomly then come back.

 

our Netflix channel does not work either, it’s just black. Our Netflix account is active, we need to watch it through the app on our TV. 

 

I have been been on hold with Telus for an hour and a half now.

Power cycle (unplug, plug back in) the modem wait till it’s back online then power cycle your receiver(s). Check if your sound issue persists.
