What type of fiber optic cable does Telus use?

Just Moved In

Hi,

I was wondering what type of fiber optic cable does Telus use to connect to ONT and to connect to the modem?

According to this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plastic_optical_fiber

there is plastic optical fiber vs glass optical fiber

plastic optical fiber is more flexible to bend and safer because there is no tiny sharp glasses when cutting it during installation.

Thanks,

Jack

I believe it a traditional glass cable at its base.

From what I was able to find, it is however described as "G.657.A1 Bend Insensitive Fiber & 10mm Min. Bend Radius" I believe this is what your referring too?
